Meet the panel

Tara Liceaga
Vice President, Equity Investment Oversight

Tara is a key liaison with Nuveen’s US and non-US equity managers across the market capitalization spectrum.  Her responsibilities include manager research for internal investment teams, assessing their investment process and performance.  She is also responsible for due diligence on new product development and implementation, and serves as an asset class expert, researching and analyzing market themes and their impact on Nuveen’s equity strategies.

Prior to joining Nuveen, Tara was on the Institutional Client Service team at BMO Global Asset Management.  She also spent eight years with Institutional Capital focusing on client service, consultant relations and business development for the firm’s US and non-US large cap value equity strategies. Tara began working in the financial services industry in 2007. 

Tara earned an MBA in Finance from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from DePaul University. 

Jennifer Seaton
CPA, MST and Partner with RSM US LLP

Jennifer has over 27 years of experience assisting family office clients and businesses in the real estate and construction industries with their federal and state tax planning, consulting and compliance needs. She understands and helps to plan for the business and tax complexities faced by both family offices and real estate funds, owners, operators, investors, builders and developers and works closely with them to maximize tax opportunities and business opportunities.

She is the Great Lakes lead in STAR, which is RSM's women's employee network group. In this role, she leads the Great Lakes for RSM on issues relative to women's development and advancement in today's every changing world.

Additionally, Jennifer is a published author and accomplished speaker and has appeared as an expert witness in complex tax cases.

Jean Lawrence
Senior Director, Product Marketing, Oracle Communications

As senior director of product marketing, Jean Lawrence leads a global organization responsible for message strategy, content creation, product launches, analyst relations, press, digital and event content. She helps communications service providers realize the benefits of 5G, cloud and the digital economy by transforming their digital experience, monetizing new services, and automating operations.

In her 20+ years of communications industry experience, Jean held marketing, strategy and product development leadership positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, Motorola, and T-Mobile prior to joining Oracle in 2016. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame.

Jen Pfaff
Principal at Capgemini

Jen Pfaff is a Principal with Capgemini in the Client Services Division of the Chicago Region. She is a Senior IT leader with expertise managing global teams acquired over twenty years working with some of the world’s largest corporations. Jen refined her management experience in the automotive industry where she was responsible for large-scale delivery teams at Ford Motor Company, General Motors, and Chrysler. More recently she served as the Director of Payment Strategy and Global Support at Domino’s.

Jen has a BSBA from the University of Arizona and a MBA from Oakland University in addition to several industry certifications. Jennifer served on the Board of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology for 13+ years. Her commercial Industry Strengths are in: Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Automotive, Engineering, Consulting, and Education/Data Science.

Jen lives in Michigan, is married with two sons in their early twenties and enjoys trail running with her two Dobermans.

Jill Osur
Founder and CEO, 
Teneral Cellars, C-Sweet Member

As a former collegiate scholarship softball player at the University of California at Berkeley, Jill has been able to combine her passion for sports and competition into a successful and prosperous career as an entrepreneur. Jill has helped over ten start-ups launch and is a seasoned sales and marketing executive and is passionate about coaching and developing young talent. Jill was the recipient of a 2012 Bronze Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year in Consumer Products for up to 2500 employees, was honored in the East Bay Business Time “40 under 40” and San Jose Business Journal’s “Top Women in Business”. Jill is a co-founder and director of a full-service winery group in El Dorado County, CA since 2015. Jill is an activist for gender, racial and social justice, and is considered a connector and a disruptor.

Jill spent her early career in political fundraising for state and national campaigns and brought that aggressive style of fundraising to the non-profit sector, which proved a potent tool for Special Olympics Northern California & Nevada for more than 14 years. Jill secured and helped raise over $150 million dollars through strategic cause marketing, corporate partnerships and individual donations. Through her consulting company, Jill has helped launch numerous consumer product companies and ventures focused on doing well by doing good.

Jill is a member of Women Presidents’ Organization, C-Sweet, was a founding board member of the John F. Kennedy University Institute for Entrepreneurial Leader- ship and is currently on the board of Hilinski’s Hope Foundation, a charity founded to help educate and remove the stigma around mental illness and to provide integrative mental wellness programs for student athletes. Jill is also a C-Sweet Member.
