Grace Winters
Real Estate Partner, Manatt
Grace Winters is a Manatt Real Estate partner in the Orange County office. She represents property owners, developers, capital providers, landlords, tenants and investment fund managers in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, exchanges, development, ground leasing, commercial leasing, financing, construction and other transactions involving real property. Grace works closely with clients’ business and legal teams to lead and manage major real estate transactions, regularly collaborating with their internal risk management, compliance and operations departments, as well as outside legal experts, third-party operators, investors, lenders, developers and consultants.
Grace represents clients in a variety of complex transactions throughout the United States, including acquiring, financing, entitling and developing real property for large-scale multifamily, commercial, office and industrial projects. She has significant experience negotiating and successfully closing purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, commercial and ground leases, development agreements, construction contracts, property management agreements, CC&Rs and related ancillary transaction documents. She has also served as real estate counsel on various corporate M&A transactions.
Grace regularly advises clients on matters relevant to affordable multifamily housing projects, including negotiating with various local, state and federal regulatory authorities in connection with the acquisition, disposition, financing and management of such properties.
In addition to her legal practice, Grace served on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Real Property Section.

Tara leads marketing for Nuveen. She is instrumental in effectively bringing Nuveen’s collective investment capabilities to their clients. Tara oversees a team that develops and executes on go to market plans aimed at acquiring, retaining and expanding client relationships while producing compelling investment stories that differentiate Nuveen from their competitors and address specific client needs.
